Want to taste it pure? Go neat. This lets you experience every layer, sweet, spicy, or peaty.

Prefer it a little cooler and softer? Add ice (a.k.a. “on the rocks”). 

Need something refreshing? Try a highball: whisky, lots of ice, and soda water, simple, crisp, and surprisingly elegant.

There’s no wrong choice. The key is finding what you like.
