Château Clos de Boüard AOC Montagne-Saint-Emilion Bordeaux France 2019

Château Clos de Boüard is the product of a blend dominated by Merlot (85%) plus a little Cabernet Franc (10%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). In the glass, it has a beautiful deep purple color with ruby tints and a bouquet of small juicy blackberries surrounded by cocoa notes as well as earthy and vegetal touches. On the palate, it offers a powerful and straightforward attack. The mid-palate is full of ripe and fresh black fruits coated in notes of various spices highlighted by a silky and finely worked tannic line. Finally, the freshness of the fruit gradually gives way to vegetal notes to finish with an elegant and remarkably long finish.
