Behind the Label: Château La Conseillante

Château La Conseillante is a historic Pomerol estate owned by the Nicolas family since 1871. Its 12-hectare vineyard is planted mostly with Merlot and some Cabernet Franc on clay and gravel soils. The wines are elegant and aromatic, with floral notes of peony and violet, red berries, soft tannins, and excellent aging potential. The estate also practices sustainable viticulture, including organic and biodynamic methods.
